Meet Valkyrie, 

Valkyrie is a thinker. She is a mastermind and can easily sway cats with her sultry tongue. She is very incisive and sees more than the average cat due to her inquisive mind. She tends to speak her mind on such topics, happy to give her opinion whether or not someone wants it. She is a very powerful she-cat, independent and able to hold her own in a fight. She has been on her own for ages before joining up with the Dark Syndicate, so she has a bit of trouble adapting to rules. Being that she was abandoned as a young apprentice, she does not see the point in sticking out for any of her supposive friends. She is not loyal by any means and will easily turn her back if she benefits from it. She will often have one friend at most, but even then it takes a lot of persuation and worth to get her to even consider befriending them. Valkyrie, despite her cowardly motives towards other cats, is a brave cat at heart. When faced with her own concerns, she is not afraid to do something risky in attempt to preserve her life. She would rather die trying than not at all.

Her kit-hood is not a delightful story, her mother had died to kit birth and so did the remaining kits. She was the only one who had endured, much to her father's disappointment. She was rescued by him nevertheless, and raised for a good portion of her kithood. He taught her a few things, but it did not undermine the fact that he was a cruel tom. He would not see her as his daughter, but rather a convienience. He raped her on several occassions and she eventually was impregnated by her father at the age of apprenticeship. After a long, hard pregnancy, nearly starved because of her lack of ability to snag a meal (and her father had all but abandoned her to her own devices) she was able to produce 4 kits. They were healthy, but a disgrace to her father. He was angered that they lived and had hoped she would die along with them like her mother had. He slaughtered all of the kits, forcing them away from her and throwing them into the snow to freeze over while she was too weak to move. He eventually left her that night, to her shock that he had only stayed to destroy what he had accidentally created. After he had left, she crawled over to her dead children and swore that she would be stronger and never turn her back on a tom again, even if they were close and she believed they could be trusted.
